This project starts in Year of 1998 with digitizing
of cadastral maps and land information. Next
steps were developing of prototype of Information
system for cadastre and property register,
working with the prototype, gathering and
processing of data, estimation of problems
aroused and requirements for developing of
entire Information system for cadastre and
property register of Sofia Municipality.
The most important features of information system like that are:
- Possibility for visualizing of graphic and attributive Database;
- Possibility for editing of graphical elements;
- Multi-user access for viewing and editing of graphical objects;
- Keeping history for changes made;
- Keeping great data amount combined with promptness in work process.
Information system for cadastre and property register ensures:
- Multi-user access - 130 users by now;
- Connection with MS SQL Server 2000 and ESRI ArcSDE for the graphic information;
- Connection with MS SQL Server 2000 for attributive information;
- Opportunity for editing of all types of objects and layers in MS SQL Server 2000 and ESRI ArcSDE;
- Preparing inquiry for changes made;
- Visualization of *.shp, *.dwg, *.tif, *.tiff files;
- Application for processing of *.cad, *.zem files;
- Printing;
- Opportunity for import and export of information in different type of Database;
- Opportunity for many queries and search on attributive information of object;
- Opportunity for access control for different users;
- Opportunity for coordinate transformation between different coordinate systems;
